Cookie & Analytics Policy
This policy explains our use of cookies, analytics and similar technologies (including local storage) on nelia.uk. It is operated by Aegis Bridge Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 16436462. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
1. The short version: we don't use cookies
nelia.uk currently sets no cookies and uses no similar tracking technologies. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party trackers, and nothing stored in your browser's local storage by us. That is why you do not see a cookie consent banner on this site — there is nothing to consent to.
We run no analytics product of any kind. We do not know who you are, which pages you read, or whether you have been here before.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to remember information about you or your visit. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and scripts. Laws in the UK (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, alongside the UK GDPR) require websites to obtain your consent before using any cookies that are not strictly necessary for the site to function.
3. The categories — and where we stand
Cookies are conventionally grouped into four categories. For completeness, here is what each one means and exactly what we use today:

4. Analytics — our position
We do not currently measure our own website traffic. Beyond the ordinary server logs our hosting provider keeps (see section 5), we collect no visitor statistics at all.
If we do add analytics in future, we commit in advance to the following:
- we will choose a privacy-first, cookieless provider wherever one will do the job;
- we will never use analytics to identify you personally, and we will never sell or share the data with advertisers or data brokers;
- we will name the provider in this policy, with its purpose and retention period, before it goes live; and
- where the law requires consent, we will ask for it properly — a real opt-in, no pre-ticked boxes, and no "by continuing to browse you consent".
5. Third-party connections this site makes
Even without cookies, loading any web page means your browser talks to servers. In the interests of being straight with you, these are every third party involved in serving nelia.uk, and what each one sees:
- Fonts (Fontshare). Our typeface is served from api.fontshare.com and cdn.fontshare.com. Your browser requests the font files directly, so Fontshare receives your IP address and browser type as an unavoidable part of that request. It sets no cookies on this site.
- Hosting (Vercel). Our pages are served by Vercel, which keeps standard server logs — IP address, page requested, timestamp, browser type — for security, abuse prevention and reliability. These are ordinary hosting records, not a tracking product.
- Currency display. On our pricing page we ask our own server which currency to show you. It reads only the country code that Vercel attaches to your request at the network edge — never a precise location, never a stored IP. We do not record the answer, and nothing is written to your device.
- Payments (Stripe). If you start a subscription, a new tab takes you to Stripe's own checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies, on its own domain, to process the payment and prevent fraud. That happens on Stripe's site under Stripe's privacy policy, not this one. We never see your card details.
6. Strictly necessary technologies
If we introduce features that require strictly necessary cookies — for example, a client sign-in that needs a session cookie to keep you logged in, or a cookie that remembers a consent choice — these do not require consent under the law, but we will list them here by name, purpose and duration before they go live.
Our customer application at app.nelia.uk is a separate, logged-in product and does use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. Those are covered by the terms you accept when you create an account.
7. If this ever changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (such as analytics or embedded third-party content that sets cookies), we will, before any such cookie is set:
- update this policy with a full table of each cookie's name, provider, purpose and duration; and
- introduce a consent mechanism so that non-essential cookies are set only if you actively opt in.
We will never rely on "by continuing to browse you consent."
8. Checking and controlling this yourself
You do not have to take our word for any of the above. You can verify it at any time in your browser's developer tools (usually under Application → Cookies or Storage), where you should find nothing set by nelia.uk.
You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies generally through its privacy settings, and to block third-party requests. Because we set no cookies, blocking them will not break this site — though blocking font requests may change how it looks.
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. We run no tracking for these to switch off, so they make no difference here today; if we ever add analytics, we will honour them.
