UK Modern Slavery Statement
Financial year: 2026/2027
Aegis Bridge Ltd is committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its business and supply chains. As a company with turnover below £36 million we are not legally required to publish a statement under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, but we make this voluntary statement because exploitation in any supply chain is unacceptable, and because customers with their own obligations under the Act rely on suppliers like us to meet them.
Our business. We are a small UK technology company providing sentiment-analytics software to the games industry, operating with a small, skilled team and no complex group structure.
Our supply chain. Our suppliers are principally cloud infrastructure and AI service providers, software licences, professional services and standard office supplies. We do not assess our supply chain as operating in sectors or regions with elevated risk of exploitation.
Our commitments. We confirm that no relevant offence has been committed within our business; we make reasonable enquiries of direct suppliers and prefer suppliers who publish their own modern slavery statements; and we encourage anyone working with us to report concerns, which the director responsible (the Board) will assess. This statement is reviewed annually.
Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
We operate a zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption and comply with the Bribery Act 2010. This policy applies to everyone acting for or on behalf of Aegis Bridge Ltd, including employees, contractors and agents.
No one acting for us may offer, promise, give, request, or accept a bribe — meaning any financial or other advantage intended to induce the improper performance of a function or to influence a decision improperly — whether involving public officials or private individuals, in the UK or abroad.
Reasonable, proportionate and transparent hospitality with a genuine business purpose is permitted, but must never be intended to influence a decision improperly, must be infrequent, and must be recorded in our gifts and hospitality register. Facilitation payments are prohibited.
We conduct proportionate due diligence on third parties acting on our behalf. Concerns about suspected bribery can be raised confidentially with a director or via office@nelia.uk, and will be handled without reprisal. Breach of this policy is a disciplinary matter that may result in dismissal and can carry personal criminal liability.
Environmental Sustainability Policy
We recognise a responsibility to the environment beyond our legal duties and work to reduce our impact as a normal part of how we operate. As a cloud-native, largely remote company, our most material impacts are digital and travel-related, and our commitments reflect that:
- Digital footprint: we favour cloud and AI providers with published carbon-reduction commitments and renewable-energy programmes, design our processing to minimise unnecessary computation and data retention, and dispose of any electronic equipment through certified e-waste channels.
- Travel and workplace: we default to remote collaboration and video conferencing over travel; where we maintain office space we minimise energy and water use, switch equipment off when idle, reduce and recycle waste, and prefer sustainable suppliers.
- People and improvement: all staff share responsibility for this policy; the Board reviews our environmental performance and objectives annually, and we keep pace with environmental law affecting our operations.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Statement
We are committed to a workplace where everyone is treated with dignity and respect and where difference is valued. We provide equal treatment regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation, and we extend the same standard of respect to clients, suppliers and everyone we deal with.
This commitment applies across the employment relationship — recruitment, pay and conditions, training, promotion, conduct, grievance and termination — and to employees, contractors, and anyone working with us. Recruitment and promotion decisions are made on merit against objective criteria; job applicants are not asked questions that could suggest an intention to discriminate; and we make reasonable adjustments for disability and encourage people to tell us what support they need.
Discrimination, harassment and victimisation are prohibited and are treated as serious disciplinary matters; deliberate discrimination may amount to gross misconduct. Concerns can be raised in confidence with a director or via office@nelia.uk, and no one will suffer reprisal for raising a genuine concern. The Board owns this policy and reviews it annually. It does not form part of any contract of employment.
